LYMEC is the youth wing of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), one of the largest parties in the European Parliament. Since 1976, the organization has united young liberals from across Europe, working on education, promoting the values of freedom, and addressing global issues.
“Vesna” has become the first Russian movement to achieve full membership status. This is a great responsibility for us and a significant step for LYMEC, which, during the war initiated by our government, decided to support civil society in Russia. Thank you for your trust!
For “Vesna,” full membership opens up the opportunity to participate in the decision-making process within LYMEC. We will also be able to exchange experiences with our European colleagues, take part in educational projects, and share the true situation in Russia.
